過去にタグ貼られて入札(テンダー)にサインしてから
複数年の延長契約しないでそのままプレーした選手たちの先例を踏まえると
Dak Prescott は来年か再来年にDALから出る決意をしたということですね…
（今シーズン末にティファニー製トロフィーを掲げることができたら話は別）

もちろんDALは有能でまだ若い(26歳)フランチャイズQBを手放したくはないので
年俸平均約35Mでの5年契約を提示したそうですがDakが応じなかった
つまりAmerica's Team のフランチャイズQBとなる王道を捨てて
来年か再来年どこかのチームからデカいオファーを得るために勝負に出たと

Ryan Fitzpatrick has been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL
over the past two seasons from a clean pocket.
His 92.9 passing grade from a clean pocket since 2018
ranks fourth in the NFL
（behind Russell Wilson, Drew Brees and Patrick Mahomes.）

The only issue is that Fitzpatrick was pressured
at one of the highest rates in the NFL last season,
and the pressure was getting there fast.

The Dolphins’ offense allowed pressure in 2.5 seconds or less
on one-third of its dropbacks in 2019
six percentage points more than the next closest NFL team.
It’s tough for a quarterback to have success
when the pressure gets there that quickly.

The Dolphins certainly put a lot of resources into the group up front,
but it’s still not a strong unit on paper in its first season together.
It’s one of the reasons
that Fitzpatrick (and not Tua Tagovailoa) seems likely to start the season
at quarterback.

開始日
　新人：7月21日
　QB、故障者：7月23日
　その他の全選手：7月28日

KCとHOUの２チームは
シーズン開幕試合が9/10木曜日なので上記より２日早く開始

ただ、NFLPA(選手協会)は
まだ感染症から選手を守るための安全策が万全ではないとして
このプランを承認していないので施設には最大20人までしか入れません

あとシーズンに入ってからの移動に関しての新ルール
　チームが移動する際の選手スタッフはマスク着用必須
　バスは定員の半分以下で間隔を開けて乗車
　飛行機は最低でも１シートづつ空けて着席
　宿泊ホテルではジム、プール、レストランなどの利用不可
　（つまり一般人との接触不可）

日本人の感覚からすると理解し難いんですけれど
アメリカ人は外出時のマスク着用義務化に強い抵抗感を持つ人がまだかなり多くいるようです
理由は息苦しいのと強制されることが嫌いということらしいです
欧米では「マスク＝病人が付けるもの(職業上の装着は除く)」という固定概念があるので
それも大きく影響しているんでしょうね

そんなアメリカでもマスクが効果的であると科学的に証明され周知されつつあり
NFL選手スタッフに対しては移動の際のマスク着用が義務化され
日常でも着用するように指導が為されているようで
先ほどSNSにUPされた動画でもプライベート時であるにもかかわらず
K'Lavon Chaisson はマスクをしてました
（Raekwon Davis は動画を撮ってる側なのでマスクをしてるのか否かは不明）

ガチのスタメン級のやつらはプレシーズンなんてゼロで良いってずっと言ってるぞ
プレシーズンにはスタメン出さないチーム増えてるし、ファンが思ってる以上にプレシーズンの価値は無いから平気でしょ

トレーニングキャンプは通常80人でスタートするんですが
今年は90人でスタートしたいとする案も出ていました
がやはり80人でスタートする方向で調整が進んでいるようですね
（まだ最終決定ではありません）

The NFL Management Council Executive Committee
has not yet signed off on the 80-man roster, per source.
There was discussion on giving teams option of keeping 90
and dividing the roster（i.e. keep 10 on standby）
but union told players it wanted all teams to follow one rule.

Close to 31% of players on NFL active rosters in 2019
entered the league as undrafted free agents.
Preseason games and OTAs were a massive platform for them to showcase
that they had a spot in the NFL.
Making a roster as a UDFA this season will be a huge achievement.

昨シーズンは active roster の31%がUDFA選手だったと
ですが今シーズンはミニキャンプもOTAもプレシーズンゲームも無しなので
UDFAの新人選手たちの能力を見極める機会が激減してしまった
なので現実的にはUDFA新人選手のほとんどが開幕時はPS登録になるんでしょうね

で規定が変わって他球団のPSから選手を引き抜き難くなったのと
一気に16人（くらい？）PSとactive の登録を入れ替えられるようになるようなので

出場機会は多いと思われるのでしっかり準備していてほしいものですね

そこのSNSを見てみると
SEAの去年のドラ１ L.J. Collier とか KCのCB Charvarius Ward とか
他にもNFL選手たちが大量にそこでトレーニングしてます

で、なんでそんなにNFL選手が多く利用しているのかというと
そこの共同経営者の一人が
