関西学院大生無免許2ケツ運転で現行犯逮捕
無免許でミニバイクを運転したとしたとして、兵庫県警西宮署は２８日、道交法違反（無免許）の疑いで、関西学院大２年の男子大学生（２１）を現行犯逮捕した。「免許を取ったことがない」と容疑を認めている。

　逮捕容疑は２７日午後１１時４０分ごろ、兵庫県西宮市門戸東町の市道で、無免許でミニバイクを運転したとしている。

　同署によると、別の男性と２人乗りしているところをパトロール中の同署員が発見。別の男性は走ってその場から逃げたといい、男子大学生を職務質問したところ無免許が発覚した。

「関関同立」という名称を作った予備校の関係者による衝撃の暴露

「当時の関西の私立大学の評価では、京都にある同志社・立命館、兵庫にある関西学院の3大学が飛び抜けて高くて、
大阪にはこれぞ、という私立大学がなかった。言うたら大阪の優秀な高校生が京都や兵庫の大学の草刈り場になっている。
夕陽丘予備校は大阪の予備校です。だから本来、大阪の大学を盛り上げるべき役割があると、白山は考えていたんです。
さらに関大のバンカラな校風も好きやった。ただ正直言うと、当時の関大はマンモス校というだけでイメージは高くなかったんです。
そこで難関四私大ということで上記3校に関西大学を入れ“関関同立”というフレーズを作れば、関大の相対的なポジションも高まるだろうと
思って作ったと聞いています。だから順番も関関同立にした。もちろん語呂のよさもありますけど、関西大学が先頭に来ることも大切だったわけです。
見てください、“関関同立”は五十音順なんです。関西学院大学の正確な読みは“くゎんせいがくいんだいがく”ですから、関西大学の方が前に来る。
『五十音順に並べただけですわ』と言われたら誰からも文句つけられへん。白山も思いついた時は『うまいこと考えたな』と思たんちゃいますやろか」

　つまり“関関同立”は、白山桂三が関大を応援するために考えたフレーズだというのだ。だから当然、同じグループにされた他の三校、
特に同志社は関関同立という“くくり”を嫌がっていたらしい。
