ロシアにも入試選抜制の国立モスクワ大学付属物理数学高校（Kolmogorov Physics and Mathematics School)や国立サンクトペテルブルク大学付属物理数学高校がある。上記のように英国も入試選抜制の大学附属数学物理英才高校を設置した。
