"one way or another"のときは，two or more possibilities だけど，"one way or the other"といえば，two possibilities に限られる。
two possibilities のときは，"one way or the other" でも "one way or another" でも構わないが，
two or more possibilities のときには，厳密には，"one way or the other" とは言えないとのこと。

でもまあ，関センセの意訳でも問題ないでしょ。竹岡御大のように細かいとこまで気にしてたら，学習が進まん。
