ジョーダンハワードが出場してる昨シーズン全試合のハイライトを見ました
改めてすごく良いRBですね（しかしPHIのOLランブロックが凄かった…）

ブリーダも良いRBなので怪我や故障がなければ期待できそうなんですが
今シーズンはOTA未実施（ミニキャンプも未実施）
プレシーズンゲームが２試合に縮小
MIAはOCが代わったうえにOLのスタメンがほぼ総入れ替えになるので
夏キャンプとプレシーズン２試合だけで仕上げるのは無理でしょう…

てか夏キャンプやシーズンに入ってから
チーム内クラスターが発生したらどうするんでしょうね
すでにヒューストン大などのチーム内でクラスター発生してますけど…
今シーズンどころか来シーズンですらワクチンと治療薬が無い可能性が高いので
NFL事務局は対処規定を考えてはいるんでしょうけれど

新顔が多いから仕上がりは当然他より遅いだろうし、その前にロースター絞るのも大変そうだね。

プレシーズンが半分になれば、いわゆるon the bubbleの選手がいいとこ見せるチャンスも減り
UDFA組なんて10か20のスナップしかもらえず、そのままポイされる人も出てきそう。

逸材を見逃さないといいんだけどな。

Julian Davenport
is only in his 4th Season and has improved slightly year over year.
In Miami’s huge Week 17 win over the Patriots,
Davenport played well, beyond a gaff or two.
His 2019 overall PFF grade of 56.5 could reach a 60.0ish level given the trend.
This would make him a serviceable starter or excellent backup.

with his play of a PFF Grade of 64.2.
Trent Brown and Marcus Cannon were two big men
that took a while to figure it out but eventually did with the Patriots.
Does Flores see something here?
Flowers is listed as ‘OL’ by the Phins.
Solomon Kindley was drafted in the 4th Round and is listed as a guard.
IF both he and Hunt push for starting roles,
maybe Flowers finds himself a Tackle… until Jackson takes the role?

と言われているが、体重は全然落ちてないらしいんで、フラワーズ安泰。

フラワーズは新人のキンドリーとスタメンを争うレベルの選手ではないですよ
彼は今シーズンMIA OLの中核選手です
怪我や故障以外でのスタメン落ちはまずありえません
基本的にはLGスタメン起用
新人を含む若手OL選手たちの出来次第では今シーズン限定でLT起用もあり得る
（だから球団公式HPのRosterでフラワーズだけポジションが“OL”になっている）
ということを >>786 は言っているのだと思います

「全米No.1を目指すアラバマ大学 〜知られざる2018年シーズン開幕の舞台裏〜」

Episode2まで見ましたけれど、プロ入りした選手が大勢出ていますね
8月のプレシーズンキャンプ、南部のアラバマは猛烈に暑そうでした
これからTuaとJalen Hurtsの本格的なスターター争いなど
Episode3以降で見所が多いのではないでしょうか

練習以外のシーンでRaekwon DavisがHurtsとふざけ合っていましたが
プロではTuaとチームメイトになリましたね

the current plan is to test players for COVID-19 about 3 times a week,
isolating those who test positive.
Per Mayer, there’s a 90% chance reliable saliva testing is available

Miami Dolphins star cornerback Xavien Howard
won't face a suspension or any other NFL discipline
in relation to a late December domestic battery arrest due
to an alleged incident with his fiancée,
a league spokesman said Wednesday.

Howard was cleared of legal discipline in this matter in early February
when Broward County prosecutors dropped the charge,
but he still potentially faced league discipline
under the NFL's personal conduct policy at that time.
Now, Howard faces no discipline on both accounts
and he's eligible to suit up for Miami in Week 1 of the 2020 season.

これは密集でのもぎ取りに強いWRの指標なんだろうけど、的の大きさと
QBの思い切りの度合いに引っ張られそうだよね。

フィッツパトリックも狭いウィンドウにイチかバチかみたいなパスをよく投げるし
スタッフォードも３メンでカバーされてるメガトロンに平気でぶち込んだりしてた。

Mike Gesicki isn’t a tight end, he’s a slot receiver.

Now the question is
how much were slot receivers used in Chan Gailey’s offense?

In the last six seasons of Gailey calling the shots
(2008 as OC of the Chiefs, 2010-2012 as HC of the Bills,
and 2015-2016 as OC of the Jets),

Gailey’s slot receivers finished the seasons ranked,
2nd, 19th, 3rd, 28th, 5th, and 12th
in terms of targets seen from the slot compared to the rest of the league.

Gesicki saw 89 targets last season,
which would be the second-most targets
for a slot player in Gailey’s six-season stretch.

But as the game has evolved,
Gailey’s view of the slot and tight end position has, too.

Gesicki has a chance to be one of the most productive slot players
in Gailey’s play-calling history.

The Dolphins added Brandon Jones in the 3rd-round of the 2020 NFL Draft
— but part of the issue with the lack of depth at safety
is that they haven’t really pooled a lot of true safety players to begin with.
Both projected starters are cornerback converts in Bobby McCain and Eric Rowe.
Jones figures to be a prominent third safety and play in “big nickel” situations.
But there’s still a missing presence of a true “single high” option at the top
— which would further unlock the potential of Brian Flores’ defense.

昨シーズン終盤は
Eric Rowe がSSをやってて、それこそボックスやニッケルにも入ってましたね
そしてシングルハイは Adrian Colbert がやってました

しつこいですがシングルハイ能力めっちゃ高いINDの Malik Hooker を

コルバートはW13以降スタメンになって安定したパフォーマンスをしていました
彼がスタメンで出場した５試合のうち３試合が勝ちだったので好印象なのと
シーズン最終盤だったので記憶に新しいというのがあるのかなと

W9以降スタメンだったCB Nik Needham が高評価（好評価）なのも同様かと

DTの Zach Sieler と Edge(OLB)の Andrew Van Ginkel も
シーズン最終盤の試合でスタメン出場して印象に残る活躍をしていました

逆にシーズン序盤の9月や10月に活躍しても印象は薄れがちですよね
WRウイリアムスくらい活躍しないとオフの話題にしてもらえません

あと、スタメンは２試合だけでしたけれど
ローテーションでシーズン序盤から最終盤までずっと良い働きをしていた
そんな印象なのがSの Steven Parker ですね

この２人は同じ2017年ドラフト組ではありますが

Tagovailoa spent the first seven weeks in Birmingham, Alabama,
doing more than three hours a day
of rehabilitation and strength and conditioning work with a trainer
who received input from the Dolphins training staff,

while also partaking in Dolphins Zoom sessions
and cultivating a phone/texting relationship with new teammates.

Since moving to South Florida nine days ago,
he has regularly worked out at the Dolphins’ Davie facility,
rehabbing from his November hip injury while being examined
by the team’s medical staff.

“He’s spending a lot of time with the playbook
and working hard and participating in Zoom meetings
and learning from teammates in the quarterback room.
He’s hungry and humble and has his head down and learning.
He’s talked to some veterans and gotten some guidance from some guys.
He recognizes the transition is not a short-term process.
It’s a long-term process.”

A growing number of people within
the New York Jets reportedly have a "strong belief"
the team won't have success as long as Adam Gase is head coach.

Per Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News,
there is a "prevailing sentiment" in New York's locker room
that "players don't respect Gase, who has rubbed them the wrong way
with his inability to lead and lack of support."

That lack of confidence in Gase extends beyond players,
with "coaches and front office members"
