子供のスクールを見てていつも思うことが一つ
コーチも子供たちも全般的に小柄だということ
競技テニスクラスでさえ男女とも大柄な子は皆無。
一歩引いて冷静に眺めると小人の国にいるような錯覚を感じる。
テニスは小柄な人向きのスポーツなのかと思ったりしてしまう。

長身の男女の練習はプレーしてる同志が熱が入るのと見てる方も迫力が伝わって違うのか　憧れみたいな雰囲気になって

チーム米沢出身でツアープロになれそうな子は誰もいませんよ。
ITFでアジア回ってお金いっぱい使ってポイントかき集め、アメリカの大学テニスに拾ってもらえたら大成功でしょう。
95%以上は、ジュニア最終学年に厳しい現実にぶち当たります。それでも、テニスで早慶行けたら超エリートコースでしょう。

苦労すると分かっていながら毎年毎年全国チャンピオンクラスが行くということは、それだけ早慶に対する憧れが強いのでしょう。
全国制覇するほどのジュニアならばバイタリティ有りそうですし、それぐらいの苦労は何ともないでしょうね。

高橋、陽介以外のその他大勢の若手プロと早慶トップの学生とは現況そんなに変わらない。

それにしても今月号のテニス雑誌にあったが、早慶の学生の就職先のすごいこと！
名だたる一流企業ばかりだよ。フューチャーズレベルのプロで終わるぐらいならどう考えてもこっちの方がいいよね。
無理なんて泣き言云わず、両立は大変かもしれないがチャレンジする価値は十分あると思う。

社内の配属先はどこなの？
うちにも体育系の学生は入ってくるが、事務処理が苦手なのでアシスタントの女子を多めに付けている。
それでも数年すると子会社へ転籍処理。そこで数年で退社というパターンが多い。
近所のテニスクラブでコーチで会ったという話を聞いたことがある。

ITF、プロテニス選手の数を大幅削減へ
1万4000人から1500人に
国際テニス連盟（ITF）は、プロ選手の数を
大幅に削減するなどし、同競技における下位レベルの改革を図ることを発表した。
プロ・ジュニアレベルのテニスを管轄するITFの3年間に及ぶ見直しは、ツアーで生計を立てるのに成功しているプレーヤーの数が極めて少ないという点に加え、選手の高齢化が進んでいることを明らかにした。
現在プロレベルの大会で争っている選手の数は約1万4000人に上るが、獲得賞金がないプレーヤーは全体の約半数を占めるという。

こうした状況を受け、ITFの理事会はプロ選手の数を男女各750人に減らす

「昨年プロレベルで競技した選手の数は1万4000人を超えるが、これは単純に多すぎる。
