"It's the ninth person I do want. Tell me, who IS ninth?" に対し
"I IS ninth!" という事は考えられるんでは。或いは
"The ninth member exists! It's me!" という主張意図がある場合など。
ところがその種のコンテキストが問題文にないとして、思考の経済則
（複数の可能性で文を解析できる場合単純な方が正しい）により
"The letter 'I' is the ninth in the alphabetic order."
というアクロバット的解釈に至る（出題意図）。
